Case Study : Amber's Story
Real Journeys, Real Outcomes
The Challenge
Amber struggled significantly in mainstream school, facing low attendance and periods where she was unable to attend at all. Alongside pressures at home, her mental health and confidence were at a low point, and she felt disconnected from education entirely.
The Intervention
At Educreate, Amber found a space where she didn't have to mask who she was. She explored spray painting, music recording, and filmmaking, supported by Rosie and the team in an environment with no judgement and no expectation to conform.
The Result
Amber went on to achieve her Gold Arts Award, and later completed her BTEC Photography course with a DDD grade. She is now studying English and Creative Writing at Falmouth University.
