Safeguarding is our first priority
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Rosie Thurston. All staff hold enhanced DBS clearance. Our practice is fully aligned with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025.
We take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously. Before any student is placed with us, we are happy to provide written confirmation of our DBS status, safeguarding policy, and KCSIE compliance procedures.
How the Referral Process Works
Step 1 — Get in touch
Contact us via the form or email info@educreate.org.uk. Tell us a little about the student and what your school is looking for.
Step 2 — Initial conversation
We will arrange a call to discuss the student's needs, current situation, and what outcomes your school is working towards. There is no obligation at this stage.
Step 3 — Placement assessment
We carry out an initial assessment to confirm that our provision is the right fit. This involves a discussion with your SENCO.
Step 4 — Programme agreement
We agree a structured programme plan, including session frequency and how progress will be communicated back to your school.
Step 5 — Regular progress updates
Throughout the placement, you will receive clear communication and regular progress reporting, with a strong focus on attendance, behaviour, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

Where students go next
The following is an account from Amber, a former Educreate student.
Before joining Educreate, Amber was struggling to attend mainstream school. Her mental health was a significant barrier, and she had developed a deeply negative relationship with learning. There was a period where she was unable to cope in a mainstream school environment at all.
At Educreate, she began exploring photography, spray painting, music recording, and film-making. She describes feeling safe, listened to, and free to express herself without judgement. Educreate became a second home.The change was significant. Amber went on to achieve her Gold Arts Award, completed a two-year BTEC Photography course at college with a DDD distinction, and is now in the final year of an English and Creative Writing degree at Falmouth University.
