Safeguarding at Educreate Learning
Our Commitment
Educreate Learning is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people in our provision. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. All staff, including freelance practitioners, maintain a culture of vigilance and act in the best interests of every young person at all times.
Our safeguarding practice is fully aligned with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE, latest version), Working Together to Safeguard Children (latest version), the Children Act 1989 and 2004, the Education Act 2002, and the multi-agency safeguarding arrangements set by Milton Keynes Council and its Local Safeguarding Children Partnership.

Any safeguarding concern relating to a young person at Educreate Learning should be reported to Rosie Thurston directly. In an emergency where a young person is at immediate risk, contact emergency services on 999.
Safer Recruitment &Staff Standards
All Educreate tutors hold enhanced DBS checks as a minimum requirement and are fully trained in safeguarding and first aid, ensuring a safe and secure learning environment for every young person. Identity, qualifications, and references are verified prior to engagement. Freelance practitioners are held to the same safeguarding standards as permanent staff and complete all required checks and induction before working with learners.
